911 Log: Suspect Sought in Armed L/SP Robbery, Metro Bus Driver Punched in HC, NH Home Invasion, Etc.

Suspect sought in Armed Lakewood/Seward Park Robbery (SPD):

On 3/10/10, at approximately 7:05 p.m., the suspect entered a store in the 4700 block of 50th  Ave. S. and pointed a small handgun at the clerk (above). The suspect demanded money from the cash register.

After receiving the cash, the suspect fled the store in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black male, 30’s, approximately 6’0” tall , 180 pounds,  medium complexion, medium build, black-framed glasses, wearing a black knit cap, black jacket,  and black pants.

Anyone with information about this suspect is asked to call Detective Healy in the Robbery Unit at 206-684-5537.

Metro bus driver punched in Hillman City (SeattleTimes.com):

The King County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who allegedly punched a Metro bus driver in the face Thursday morning in South Seattle.

The incident happened about 11 a.m. near the intersection of Rainier Avenue South and South Brandon Street, according to sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. John Urquhart. Read more.

New Holly Home Invasion Robber: ‘Cooperate and you won’t be killed’ (seattlepi.com):

Three suspects in a home-invasion robbery last week in South Seattle shoved victims into a bathroom, put a gun to the back of one’s head and said, “Cooperate and you won’t be killed,” according to a police report released Monday.

The robbery happened about 2 p.m. March 16 in the 7600 block of 40th Avenue South. Someone rang the apartment doorbell, and three men who appeared to be in their 20s stormed inside wearing all black clothes, masks and latex or rubber gloves. Read more.

Police continue investigation into computer thefts (seattlepi.com):

Last June, police confiscated more than 300 computers and dozens of electronic accessories from a South Seattle computer repair shop that they allege was trafficking stolen goods.

In police documents obtained Wednesday by seattlepi.com, investigators say detectives have found at least 13 stolen laptops, two Apple computer towers, a stolen iPod, a stolen Nikon digital camera, a movie projector and a laptop carrying case. Read more.
