RAINIER VALLEY – Seattle Police say two men stole another man’s Cadillac at gunpoint and shot at the victim in front of his own house early Saturday morning.
It was just before 5 a.m. when officers responded to a report of shots fired and people screaming in the 4500 block of South Willow Street.
“Preliminary investigation indicates that the male victim had just arrived home with his female friend and was in the process of exiting his car when two unknown black male suspects approached him and demanded his vehicle,” wrote SPD spokesman Jeff Kappel.
He said one of the suspects pulled out a black handgun, pointed it at the victim and then fired three shots at him when he ran towards his house. No one was hit and there were no injuries. Both suspects then got into the victim’s car and fled westbound on South Willow Street.
An extensive area search proved unsuccessful and the suspects remain at large.
The victim’s stolen car is described as a 1995 light blue Cadillac Deville four-door sedan with large rims.
The shooter is described as a black man in his 20′s to 30′s wearing a black and red jacket and baseball hat.
Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identity or whereabouts of the suspects or the victim’s vehicle is asked to call 911 or Seattle Police and refer to this incident. Anonymous tips are welcome.
