SEWARD PARK – Seattle Police say a man is being treated at Harborview Medical Center after being shot in the head last night near Seward Park.
According to SPD’s Twitter feed, the call began Friday at 10:25 pm at 58th Avenue South and South Oakhurst with a car crash and ended at Wilson Avenue South and South Graham where a driver was found with a gunshot wound to the head.
Detectives are still trying to sort out the sequence of events and have not said if they think the incident is related to an earlier shooting in the Central District.
In that case, at least one man was shot in the 2400 block of South Dearborn Street at about 6 p.m. Police say it is unknown what precipitated the incident but that one vehicle was seen speeding away. As of last night, the suspects remained at-large and the Gang Unit was investigting.
This is a developing story. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
