RAINIER VALLEY – Neighbors across the Rainier Valley and the country will celebrate Night Out Against Crime this Tues., Aug. 7.
The annual event is designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, increase neighborhood support in anti-crime efforts and unite communities. It’s also a chance to reconnect with neighbors and share information with each other while learning more about crime prevention.
Some gatherings are just a few households; others expand into large block parties.
