RAINIER VALLEY – More than 25,000 people are expected to run through the Rainier Valley later this month in the fourth annual Rock ‘n Roll Marathon.
After starting its first three editions in Tukwila and running along Lake Washington Blvd. in the Rainier Valley, the 2012 event will begin in downtown Seattle and take a new route through Southeast Seattle on Rainier Avenue South, between Dearborn and Genesee.
Organizers say they are expecting more than 26,000 runners to Seattle Center on Sat., June 23, from 6 to 10:30 a.m.
