RAINIER BEACH – This weekend, the Rainier Beach Merchants Association (RBMA) and SEEDArts will host its second annual art walk designed to build community and improve the neighborhood’s image.
“Art Walk Rainier Beach is intended to create a constructive and safe image for the neighborhood, build positive awareness of Rainier Beach’s character and diversity, and bring the businesses, residents and visitors together to discover neighborhood treasures,” says the organization’s website.
The event – planned for Sat., Sept. 15, from 11 am to 3 pm – will feature an afternoon of fine art and arts-n-craft booths, indoor exhibits, hands-on art activities, artist demonstrations and live entertainment.
