SE Seattle Competing Against NE in Seattle Weekly Snackdown; Voting Ends Today

SEATTLE – The Seattle Weekly is pitting Southeast Seattle against Northeast as it tries to determine which area offers a superior dining experience:

Our neighborhood play-in match pits the Northeast (University District, Ravenna, Wedgwood, Lake City and Roosevelt) against the Southeast (Central District, Madrona, Mt. Baker, Beacon Hill, Georgetown, Columbia City and Rainier Valley). Which is the better eating district?

As of this writing, SE Seattle is way ahead with 81% of the vote, and NE Seattle is lagging behind with 18%. This may be because, as the Weekly says:

What can’t you find in the Southeast Super Region? In a city that pays lip service to diversity, but in many neighborhoods has precious little of it, this area’s got almost everything.

Voting for the Snackdown ends tonight at 11:59 pm.
