RAINIER VALLEY – Police raided a Chinese restaurant in Seattle’s Rainier Valley on Tuesday in a drug enforcement case.
Witnesses described officers and armored trucks pulling the doors off the Jumbo Chinese Restaurant, located in a strip mall near the intersection of Rainier Avenue South and South Genessee Street.
“There was about 30-40 on either side, swat team, camouflage, they hooked up some chains to the grate of the door and yanked it off,” said Bryan Kinder. “They were fully armed and ready for whatever was going to happen.” More.
