SOUTHEAST SEATLE – This year, the Argosy Christmas Ship festival celebrates its 64th year.
Each night, through December 23rd, the flotilla will sail to different Puget Sound waterfront communities including several in southeast Seattle, and on-board choirs will sing 20-minute performances. On shore, friends and neighbors can gather around bonfires and watch.
This year, the first of two Southeast Seattle Christmas Ship visits will take place on Sun., Dec. 1, and two south-end organizations will host coinciding visits with Santa, including Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center starting at 5 pm and Mount Baker Community Club starting at 7 pm.
The Christmas Ship will return to the Rainier Valley on Wed., Dec. 4, with visits to Pritchard Beach and Seward Park. Find schedule here.
